Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Minimum SAM-QFS version needed to run a T10000C drive.
Solution
Required version of SAM-QFS in order to work with a T10000C drive.
There is a required patch for SAM-QFS 5.2:
Solaris 10_x86 - PATCH 146544-01
** or **
SPARC - PATCH 146545
Note the above patches bring SAM-QFS to version 5.2.2
1. Log in to My Oracle Support: https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html
2. Click on the 'Patches & Updates' tab near the top of the window.
3. In the Patch Search pane, click on "Product or Family(Advanced Search)."
4. Check the box for "Include all products in a family."
5. In the Product field, start typing "Sun QFS and Sun Storage Archive Manager(SAM)" (or find it in the pull-down list and select it when it appears).
6. In the Release field pull down, select "Sun Storage QFS Software 5.2".
7. Close the release pull down window and click on the Search button.
8. Check the box next to the patch that applies to your platform.
9. Select Download from the menu along with the Readme file.
