DISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS

WHAT SKILLS DOES THE ENGINEER NEED:(IS A SITE ENGINEER AVAILABLE?)
SE6320 product training or field experience with the SE6320.

TIME ESTIMATE: 120 minutes

FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS

PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
Replace service processor accessory tray

WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
The customer is not required to perform a system shutdown. While there is no impact to the data paths, service processor network connectivity and array management will be interrupted while the SPA tray is being replaced.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
Follow standard ESD precautions.
Follow procedures documented in Storedge 6320 System 1.2 Reference and Service Guide.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE

WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
Verify accessory tray functionality.
