PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
EMI Gasket Kit replacement
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
EMI Gasket kit replacement activity can be performed when system is running online
The customer is not required to shut the system down.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
1. Remove the top cover
2. Note the location and orientation of the gaskets to be replaced
3. Remove the old long top cover gasket and discard it
4. Install the new long top cover gasket from the replacement kit
(Ensure that the new gasket is oriented correctly, with the gasket flap facing the edge of the top panel.
5. Remove the old short top cover gasket and discard if
6. Install the new short top cover gasket from the replacement kit.
(Ensure that the new gasket is oriented correctly, with the gasket flap facing the edge of the top panel.
7. Install the top cover back>
