Goal
How a customer can request the microcode in the VTSS be upgraded to a more current level.
Solution
1. Open SR through MOS or call Oracle support to open SR.
2. State the correct VTSS serial number.
3. Set SR severity to 3.
4. In the description field of the SR, note the requested service is VTSS microcode upgrade.
5. State desired microcode level (if known).
6. Note the name of the field engineer to be assigned the field service task (if known).
7. State the scheduled date and time work is to be performed (if known).
8. Submit the SR.
Note: The requested information will assist with the field service task being dispatched properly.
