FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS
PROBLEM OVERVIEW: CSM100/FLA200/FLC200/FLA300 Power Supply has been identified as faulty.
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
Before beginning the repair procedure below, deactivate ASR temporarily so that additional Service Requests are not created.
After completing the repair procedure, reactivate ASR. Refer to <Document 1508403.1> ASR Deactivation / Reactivation via My Oracle Support.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
1. Turn the power switch on the failed power supply to the "Off" position.
2. Unplug the power cord from the failed power supply.
3. Squeeze the pull ring on the failed power supply to release the lever. Open the lever, and pull the power supply out of the unit.
4. Insert the new power supply.
5. Plug the power cord back into the supply
6. Switch the power to ON position.
7. Green LED should be lit.
OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
1. Verify That no critical faults exist on the system
2. If applies, reactivate ASR.
