Nothing beyond basic partner training to be qualified as a Sun Service Delivery Partner. - TIME ESTIMATE: 60 minutes - TASK COMPLEXITY: 1 FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS PROBLEM OVERVIEW: How to replace a Tape Drive WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? : The customer should conduct an orderly software and system shutdown. System power off is required. WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE: 1. Ensure system is shut down 2. Remove front bezel 3. Loosen media tray/retention screws and remove tape drive. 4. Remove tape drive 5. Install replacement tape drive (ensure new drive's SCSI ID is set to "5") 6.
