FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS

WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:

   1. Route I/O cables away from the filter being replaced, ensuring not to disconnect any cables. Do this on both the front and rear of the chassis.

   2. Remove the face plates by loosening the front panel captive thumbscrew from both the front and rear of the three filter chambers on the power chassis.

   3. Take two new filters and insert one behind the other in one of the filter chambers, pushing the old filters out through the other side of the chassis.

   4. Repeat Step 2, and Step 3 for the two remaining filter chambers.

   5. After the six new filters have been replaced, install the faceplates and tighten the captive screws.

   6. Restore the I/O cables to their original location.
