WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :

This type of FRU is Hot swappable.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:

From the Main SC:

SC> showenvironment
SC> poweroff ps#
PS0: powered off
Perform the physical replacement
The PSU can be removed when the "ok to remove" LED is lit.
SC> poweron ps#
PS0: powered on

Check to ensure power supply is ok.
SC> showenvironment -p powers

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE

WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:

None.

PARTS NOTE:

This Power Supply weighs 19.5 Kilograms (43 Lbs).
Front Power Supplies are labeled PS0, PS1, and PS2 from right to left.
Rear Power Supplies are labeled PS3, PS4, and PS5 from right to left.
