*FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS*
PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
Type: ENVIRONMENTAL ERROR
Description: TEMPERATURE (OVER XX DEGREE)
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
This procedure is transparent to the host.
Time Estimate: 60 minutes
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
Verify that air conditioning is functioning and that the environmental conditions not causing the fault
Verify that the Fans are functioning in the frame
When Thermostat Failure is confirmed :
Enter Modify mode on SVP
Drill Down into maintenance mode
Click on component to replace
Replace Thermostat
Click Okay after replacement
verify successful replacement in maintenance screen
Complete Sim
Return SVP to View mode
OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
None Required , non disruptive .
