WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?
The replacement is transparent to the host .
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
The exact steps are documented in the Maintenance manual 07rep.pdf .
Below is an overview of the steps , but always refer to the maintenance
manual .
-Change to modify mode
-Enter Maintenance
-Select Failing device
-Replace Device
-follow instruction for procedure
-Complete Sim
-exit Modify Mode

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
Verify the replacement was successful using the SVP maintenance utility.
