A data backup is not a pre-requisite but is a wise precaution.
The customer is required to perform a system shutdown when replacing the OPNL.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
NOTE: Do not replace the XSCFU and OPNL simultaneously. Execute the showhardconf command or the
showstatus command to confirm that the component replaced earlier is operating normally, before replacing the subsequent FRU.
Cold Replacement:

2) Following either method a) or b) shutdown and power off all domains.
a) Press and hold the POWER switch on the operator panel for at least four seconds.
b) Log in to XSCF and run the poweroff -a command.
