Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Download and setup instructions for the Home FTP Server which is needed in order to run FDE Diagnostics on a T10K Drive.

Solution

The attached document is an overview of troubleshooting the setup and running of diagnostics to the T10000 drive using VOP. (Virtual Op Panel)

The Home FTP Server must be downloaded and installed prior to running diagnostics.

HomeFTP, mentioned in the doc can be found through Google search.

The version you are using determines the setup required for the Home FTP Server.

Older versions of the Home FTP Server (such as version 1.0.7-build 48) will work to run diagnostics as written in the attached instructions.

Version 1.6 has a problem with anonymous login and will not work to run these diagnostics.

Current versions (r1.12.3 build 171 and above) should work well but you need to setup the anonymous user.

 - Modify the directory of the Anonymous account to the full path of where the diags are. Stop and start the ftp server. It is not necessary to change the username or password in the VOP dialog box. Leave it as anonymous/anonymous.
