Hoe to replace a System Configuration Card information wrong or invalid.
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
The system is most likely unable to boot, so no further action is required at this time.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
Follow the instructions documented in:
Sun Fire[TM] V1280/Netra 1280/E2900 system: Reprogramming the System Configuration Card (SCC) (Doc ID 1007976.1)
under the section "Call Flow" first attempting to recover the original card, and then reprogram a pre-programmed card if the recovery process does not resolve the problem.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
Boot the system if it's not already booting
