SolutionIn the case of unidirectional CHAP, initiator will provide the CHAP user name and secret to the target. # iscsiadm modify initiator-node -a chap
# iscsiadm modify initiator-node -H initchap # iscsiadm modify initiator-node -C <- Set a password of length 12 to 16 characters.
# iscsiadm list initiator-node
Configuration -> SAN -> Initiator -> iSCSI Initiator and click the pencil icon to edit Use CHAP <- tick
Initiator CHAP name <- initchap (same as above) Initiator CHAP secret <- (same as above) Click 'ok'
# iscsiadm modify discovery -t enable
OR # iscsiadm modify discovery -s enable
# iscsiadm list target -S
