3. If RTD is found Offline Maintenance Mode, skip to Internal Step 5.
4. If RTD is found Offline Undefined Mode, please review <Document 1119554.1>.
5. Contact customer and check the status of the RTD problem. If the RTD is still in maintenance mode, have the customer do the following:

If an RTD is found to be in maintenance mode please do the following:

1. Issue the VTCS command:  VARY RTD(xxxx) OFF -- where xxxx is the RTD address

The following messages will be displayed:
SLS5010I Vary submitted to VSM system
SLS5011I Vary - Device xxxx offline
SLS5013I Vary completed (0)

2. Verify the RTD is OFFLINE by issuing the following VTCS command:  D RTD
3. Once offline, issue this VTCS command:  VARY RTD(xxxx) ON  -- where xxxx is the RTD address

The following messages will be displayed:
SLS5010I Vary submitted to VSM system
SLS5011I Vary - Device xxxx online
SLS5013I Vary completed (0)
SLS6634I RTD xxxx available for use

4. Verify the RTD is ONLINE by issuing this VTCS command:  D RTD

When issuing the above commands, please prefix the command with the HSC identifier defined to your system. For example, the symbol '#' can be defined as the identifier and a sample command would be #D RTD.  Also, if running VTCS 6.2 or lower, use the VT command prefix, such as #VT D RTD.
