Solution
NOTE: Firmware shown as "controlled" are not publicly available and is only provided on a case-by-case basis as deemed necessary by support services.
a Release 1.0 was for 2540 GA. b Patches 12748[678]-xx are for CAM 5.1.x only and was released independent of CAM 6.0. Take note that CAM 6.0 has LOWER rev of firmware, and these patches cannot be applied directly on CAM 6.0 due to packaging differences (dir structure changed). c Patches 1282{69|70|71}-01 are for CAM 6.0 only and contains the same firmware as that of CAM 5.1.x patches 12748[678]-xx. d Patches 13729[456]-01, new controller firmware for 48 drives support. e Patches 13793[456]-01, controller network issue bug fix, for CAM 6.1.0. f Patches 13793[456]-02, controller network issue bug fix to include 6140, firmware for 2500 same as -01. g Patches 13903[456]-01, controller network issue bug fix for 2500 and 6140 for CAM 6.1.1. h CAM 6.2.0 supports and bundles 7.35 firmware for 2500 series arrays, however upgrade utility is a separate download. This firmware upgrade can be done by customer. i Patches 14006[012]-01, 2530_exmoor.properties fix for CR6762669 Unable to upgrade NVSRAM firmware on a simplex 2530 array; requires CAM core patch 14006[456]-01. j 7.35.10.13 contains the fix for SA256288 but was not bundled in CAM 6.4.0. k 7.35.44.10 fixes SA256288 and supersedes 7.35.10.13. l CAM 6.6.0.11 host types do not match array's host region (CR6935284), affecting 2500, 6140, 6180, 6540, 6580/6780. This may result in either new mappings selecting the wrong host region, or user confused by the display and change existing mappings which was correct, to become wrong. CAM 6.6.0.12 through patch 14147[456]-01 was specifically released to resolve this bug.
m New firmware patch for Windows and Linux which includes latest array firmware and Hitachi drives firmware. For Solaris, install latest CAM 6.10.2.2. n Sun Storage Common Array Manager version 6.10 is available for Solaris only.
