Goal

Revised Front Door Adjustment Process.

Solution

Refer to the attached document for the Revised Front Door Adjustment Process.

Note: This is a revised version for adjusting the front doors of the SL8500. For the most current version, refer to the Installation Manual. This came out of an investigation into a problem at a major account. The 48v bounced momentarily and booted the bots and HBZ card. Found the original latch pawl adjustment tool did not work and should not be used.

A bad/shorted/loose cable harness going to the door switches or HBN card carrying 48v's can cause the same symptoms and probably to a lesser degree defective door switches are possible.
