Press the OK button.
Press the Enable Telnet button.

PX500> (will apprear on the screen)

When the log has finish downloading, stop the data transfer.
From the Transfer pull-down menu select Capture Text Ý Stop.
Failure Analysis File
Prior to calling customer support with a library problem, capture the failure analysis file and have it available when contacting customer support.
To connect a service PC to the PX500 series library:
1. Using the 9-pin RS-232 to 3mm cable (see figure 81) provided with the library, connect the 9-pin
connector a COM port on a local PC and to the serial port on the library system controller board (SCB)
(see figure 82).
2. Open a HyperTerminal window on the service PC and set the following properties:
• Baud rate 38400
• Data bits 8
• Parity none
• Stop bits 1
• Flow controlnone
• Emulation ANSI
3. Type <Control-L> to access the command prompt.
4. From the Transfer menu at the top of Hyper Terminal, select the Capture Text...
5. Enter a file name and click Start.
6. At the command prompt, type fa and press <Enter>.
After the command has executed, select Stop from the Capture Text menu. Have this text file available
