Goal

Where to find HP LTO Device Driver.

Are there any drivers to be installed on Windows 2003,  for the OS to be able to recognize the new LTO5 drive in SL500?

Solution

Steps to Follow
Refer to the following Knowledge Entry to acquire the HP LTO Driver:

HP LTO4 - Device Drivers For Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 On HP's Website (Doc ID 1016307.1)

Note:
The Window server is able to see the LTO4 drive but not LTO5 that was just installed by our partner.
The Window server has not rebooted yet.
The SL500 Library firmware is now running at 1432.

You need to select HP Storageworks Ultrium 960 or 460
They all use the same HP Storageworks driver be it LTO4 or LTO5, latest version is 4.0.0.0 release September 2014.

Windows should detect the drive anyway, recommend they reboot common for windows to not auto created new devices, or check via the HBA utility's if it sees the device.
