Goal

IBM has no plan to create or support a driver for IBM LTO4 drives on a Windows 2000 platform.

Solution

IBM has no plan to create or support a driver for IBM LTO4 drives on a Windows 2000 platform but they do have a Windows 2003 Certified driver for the IBM LTO4 tape drive on their website.

IBM won't create a driver for IBM LTO4 drives on a Windows 2000 platform.

The customer will have to rely on their backup application to supply the driver for the IBM LTO4 drive on a Windows 2000 platform.
