HP LTO4 - Drivers For Windows(R) 2000 and Windows(R) 2003 On HP's Website.

Solution

Yes, the HP LTO Gen-4 drive is supported on Windows 2000. It is the same driver as the one for Windows 2003.

HPE has only supplied the Windows driver to Oracle for the HP LTO drives.

Please ask your Oracle Tape Support engineer for the HP LTO Windows driver if needed.

The HP LTO Windows driver is now posted to the TapeSupport Website under "Reference" -> "Tape Product Tools" -> "OEM Drive Tools"

HP LTO Drivers Version 30019. File has been renamed with a .txt extension because email and MOS do not allow attaching.
Click on ----> Windows

Note: You will need to attach the HP_LTO_Windows_Driver_30019.ext.txt to the SR for the customer and then instruct the customer to take off the ".txt" file extension so that it is once again a ".exe" file extension.
