Steps to Follow

Repeater Boards are also know as Fireplane Switches and are located as follows:

  • Repeater Board 10 = RP0

  • Repeater Board 11 = RP1

  • Repeater Board 12 = RP2

  • Repeater Board 13 = RP3

There are 10 slots in a Sun Fire 6800 server. The System Board spans SB0-SB5, and I/O Assemblies span IB6-IB9.

Repeater Boards use slots 10, 11, 12, and 13.
