Description
Systems running Service Processor ILOM firmware versions older than 1.1.1 may not fully display Product Manufacturer information for newer qualified DIMMs such as Qimonda.

Steps to Follow
Systems running The manufacturer name will report as NULL for these DIMMs as shown in the following example:
ipmitool -H XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -U root -P mypasswd fru print

FRU Device Description : p0.d0.fru (ID 10)
Product Manufacturer : (NULL)
Product Name : 2048MB DDR 400 (PC3200) ECC
Product Part Number : 72D256220GBR5B
Product Version : 1311

It is recommended that system firmware be updated to the latest available for your system.
