Maintenance Manual Discrepancies

The Enchilada Silver Diagnostics Manual Entry (Enchilada/SB2500+)
=================================================
Chapter 16, table 16-2, of 817-5117-11, Diagnostics Manual (Silver) states that:
Dual-Channel Differential
Ultra/Wide SCSI PCI adapter
Dual-Channel Single-Ended
Ultra/Wide SCSI PCI adapter
Single-Ended Ultra/Wide
Conditions for Installation:
SCSI PCI adapter:  These devices have no Fcode, so they are not
recognized by the OpenBoot PROM and can not be used as bootable
host adapters for hard drives or removable media drives.  These
devices are not supported or reported by the probe-scsi command.
This platform uses the LSI1030 scsi controller whose fcode driver
resides in a separate flashprom device and is not part of main OBP.

Chapter 16, table 16-2, of 816-0996-11, Diagnostics Manual (Red) states that:

Ultra/Wide SCSI PCI adapter
Single-Ended Ultra/Wide
Conditions for Installation:
There are no restriction
Reason:
This platform uses the LSI1010 scsi controller whose fcode driver is
part of main OBP. There is no need for a separate flashprom device
for the fcode driver.  Therefore, the LSI1010 is fully recognized
and supported by OBP and bootable.
