Connect to the serial port (DB9) on the unit with a null-modem serial cable. Note: On V20z you will need to set Jumper19(J19) on your motherboard, to ensure SP access to the Serial Port. J19 is located nearer to the 66MHz PCIX slot on the left hand side(when viewing machine from the rear) 2. Use 115200 as the baud rate. If needed, use Data Bits: 8, Parity: None, 3. 4. Press a key to interrupt the boot process. You must do so within the four =>
5. At the prompt, type: spfactory
6. There will be a short pause, then the prompt again. At the prompt, type: reset
7. The SP has now been reset to factory defaults and must be configured again. All related documentation for V20z and V40z Servers
