Goal

The SL8500 top CAP mounting bracket needs to be configured during install depending whether it is in position A or B.

Solution

The SL8500 top CAP mounting bracket needs to be configured during install.

The SL8500 top CAP mounting bracket is a universal bracket which needs to be configured for the appropriate CAP position on install. CAP A is installed on the left side of the door as viewed from the front of the library and CAP B is installed on the right. We currently ship all CAPs in the A configuration. The proper position of the top mounting bracket is stamped on the top of the mounting bracket.
