Goal
This document provides the minimum requirements to enable aggressive page retirement on Sun servers. There are also links to related documentation and tools.
Solution
To take advantage of page and aggressive page retirement functionality the following minimum kernel patch revisions need to exist in your environment:
- Solaris 8 <SunPatch:117000-05>
- Solaris 9 <SunPatch:112233-12>
The patch versions in the document are at the time of writing, the latest versions can be obtained from My Oracle Support
