Goal

This document will assist in verifying the battery status for a Sun Storage T3/T3+ Array.

The steps shown below will assist you in troubleshooting symptoms including

  •  Failed battery
  •  Refreshing battery
  •  Expired battery
  •  Writethrough cache
NOTE: This is a sub-set of <Document 1018272.1> Sun StorEdge T3, T3+ and 6120 Arrays: Troubleshooting.

 

Solution

The steps below will help to verify and resolve battery problems.

Step 1: Verify battery status.

Step 2: Verify the battery is not currently refreshing by using the refresh -s command.

Example for firmware 2.x and below:

No battery refreshing Task is currently running.
