Oracle FS1-2 Flash Storage System - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Generic Linux
For the install script to work Oracle FS1-2 Manager has to be installed under the logged in user's home directory. It doesn't matter what directory under /home// Manager is installed.

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to deliver a tar file that contains a script, png, and readme. Running the executable adds a GNOME Launcher to your desktop and to the Internet Category.

Scope

A user must know how to use tar and how to run a shell script from a terminal window.

Details

Perform the following steps to add a GNOME Launcher to your desktop and to the Internet Category:

  1. Verify FS1-2 Manager is installed in some directory under users /home director.
  2. Download the attached tar file.
  3. Run tar xvf <file.tar>.
  4. Check the README file.
  5. Execute the <file.sh>.

Once you complete the steps, you should see a FS1 Manager Icon on your desktop and under Applications -> Internet.
