PurposeTo illustrate minimum system requirements to support the Oracle Flash Accelerator F640 PCIe card in T7-x, S7-x, and T8-x systems. Customers with older versions of Oracle Flash drives that wish to upgrade to this latest version will be required to make these system updates. Additionally: ScopeCustomers that are using the Oracle Flash Accelerator F640 PCIe Card (7115454) or are migrating from Oracle F320 Flash Cards (or earlier Flash drive versions) to the Oracle F640 Flash Card on SPARC T7-x, SPARC T8-x, and S7-x systems. DetailsCustomers will need to update their systems to these minimum revisions to support the latest F640 Flash drives. Support for F640 Flash drives in T7-x, S7-x, T8-x requires minimum revisions of: System Firmware (T7-x, S7-x), Solaris (T7-x, T8-x, S7-x), and FPGA (T7-x and S7-x). T7-x, S7-x: Minimum sysFW 9.8.3 or higher Patch 27043765, SPARC T7-1 Sys-FW update not needed for T8-x systems. Shipped (RR) with 9.8.1 Patch 26963946: FIRMWARE: SPARC T7-SYSTEMS+S7-SYSTEMS HW PROGRAMMABLES 1.0.14 T7-2: Hardware_Programmables 1.0.15 Patch 27353106: FIRMWARE: SPARC T7-2 SYSTEMS HW PROGRAMMABLES 1.0.15 Update not needed for T8-x systems.
