Description

Components of incompatible types are in use.

Automated Response

The service-required LED on the chassis and the affected FRU will be illuminated.

Impact

The incompatible FRU may not be providing service. The system may experience a loss of redundancy until resolved.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The Event is an Alert and not necessarily caused by a fault in the system. The System Administrator should remove the affected part and replace it with the proper part.

If the system is connected via Auto System Request (ASR) the information may have been sent to Oracle. If unable to resolve and ASR did not open a service request, refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content in preparation for submitting a service request and applying any post-repair actions that may be required.
