Description

Message ID: ILOM-8000-H0 indicates that the ILOM fault manager has applied diagnosis to error
reports received and has determined that the Top Level Identification of the system cannot be determined.

This event occurs when either a 'Primary' quorum device is replaced or more than two quorum members are
replaced at the same time, resulting in the key identity information to no longer match amongst the quorum members.

ILOM uses a quorum of three FRU's  to maintain accurate key identity property information about the product.

One FRU is designated a 'Primary' quorum device and two FRU's are designated 'Backup' quorum devices.

When a 'Primary' quorum device is replaced, it requires authorized service personnel
to manually update the new FRU with information from the other quorum members.

When two quorum devices are replaced at the same time, it requires authorized service personnel
to manually update the new FRU's with information from the remaining quorum member.

Automated Response

The system is unable to determine accurate product identification and will return 'UNKNOWN' to product identification requests.

Impact

The system will operate in the presence of this fault.
The product serial number (PSN) is a key identity property and is required for service entitlement and Automated Service Request (ASR).

Suggested Action for System Administrator

This event serves as a 'reminder' to authorized service personnel that the key identity info needs to be updated after replacing a FRU that is a quorum member.

Refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content
in preparation for submitting a service request and applying any post-repair actions that may be required.
