Fujitsu fault codes:

Details
Type
- Hardware Fault
- device.fan.tooslow_pcibox
Severity
- Major
Description
-
Fault due to the rotation speed of a PCI Expansion Box fan (including fans in fan trays or in PSUs) being either lower than its predefined threshold or a fan is stopped completely.
Automated Response
- When a fan in a PSU in PCI expansion box is failed, then this PSU will be stopped.
Impact
- For a PCI expansion box, if the failure is due to the fan in a PSU, then the PSU is deconfigured.
In all other cases, nothing is deconfigured.
Indicted Hardware
- The fan, fan tray, or PSU is marked for replacement.
Once the full complement of fans has been restored (this includes the replacement of PSUs with faulty fans) for the box (and once the temperature for all temperature sensors is in normal range) the speed of all the fans is returned to normal speed.
Suggested Action for System Administrator
- The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
