Description

A problem with XB-Box numbering was detected during powerup. Some XB-Boxes are missing or the system has two XB-Boxes but their BB-ID’s are not 80 and 81 e.g. they are set to 80 and 82 on a two XB-Box system.
More precisely, the system has two XB-Box’s but their BB-ID’s are not 80 and 81

Automated Response

The powerup does not take place.

Impact

Nothing is deconfigured.

Indicted Hardware

The XB-Boxes are not faulty, just misconfigured.
The XB-BOX’s may lose power. Or, administrator may wrongly set BB-ID’s for XB-Box’s.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

Configure the XB-Box ids in accordance with instructions in the SPARC M12 Systems Installation Guide at docs.oracle.com.
