Description

Upset due to the fact that the XSCF could not determine that POST is running correctly in a domain.

The situations under which this upset can be detected are as follows:

- fe-start-err: 02000e01 The XSCF software could not determine that POST started successfully;

Automated Response

If the event occurred during POST at domain startup, the domain is powered down, and no other action is taken.

In all these cases, the platform administrator should check for some sort of fault that could have caused this failure. The platform administrator should schedule a service action.

Impact

Nothing is deconfigured.

Indicted Hardware

For fe-start-err event, an LSB, which failed to start, is specified.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
