Description

A fault occurred when a PSU signaled that it has failed.
Automated Response
- If there are insufficient operational PSUs to power the PCI expansion box, then the PCI expansion box is powered down. Otherwise, no action is taken.
The platform administrator should schedule a service action.
Impact
- The PSU is deconfigured. If there are insufficient operational PSUs, the PCI expansion box becomes unusable.
Indicted Hardware
- The PSU is marked for replacement.
Suggested Action for System Administrator
- The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
