Description

Fault due to a fatal error in a DIMM, such as an address parity error detected at a DIMM. However, memory mirroring is enabled at the DIMM and the failed DIMM can be deconfigured.
Automated Response
- No immediate action is taken.
Impact

The DIMM is deconfigured.
Indicted Hardware
- The first suspect is the DIMM. The second suspect is MAC sub-chip, which means MBU (for M12-1 systems) or CMUA, CMUL (for M12-2/M12-2S systems).

- The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
