Oracle SuperCluster Supported Software Versions For 2.x Builds. These can occasionally have difference form the most recently released Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch. These stacks are considered supported versions up until the next Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch in which case the system should be patched up to the Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch level.

Purpose

Oracle SuperCluster Supported Software Versions For 2.x Builds. These can occasionally have difference form the most recently released Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch. These stacks are considered supported versions up until the next Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch in which case the system should be patched up to the Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch level. Refer to <Document 2056975.1> - Contents of each SuperCluster Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch (QFSDP)

Do NOT manually update firmware or software unless directed by Oracle Support. Solaris 11.3 OS The SuperClusters are tested and certified at certain SRU and Jumbo IDR levels. It is not allowable to send a SuperCluster LDom past the latest certified and tested SRU level . Individual IDRs will have to be backported to the customer SRU level and can be applied as long as they do not conflict with the existing Jumbo IDR for that SRU. If it does conflict then it will have to be merged into the Jumbo IDR for that release. If the customer needs to get to the latest certified SRU level it is strongly recommended that they do so v ia the latest QFSDP. Exceptions will have to be worked out between Oracle Support and SuperCluster Engineering.
