Applies to:Oracle Communications Subscriber Data Management (SDM) - Version SDM 9.3 to SDM 9.3 [Release SDM 9.0]Tekelec PurposeOracle® Communications Subscriber Data Management System Configuration Reference Manual: Release 9.3: 910-6868-001 Revision B Page 573. A documentation error exists for “DrmSite” Attribute where the description field is not accurate. For Geo-Redundant Systems, the information is not correct. Incorrect information: “For Geo-Redundant systems, the DRM module should be enabled on both active SystemControllers and DrmSite should be configured as LocalSite on one system and LocalSiteAndGeo on another system. The DRM module that monitors local site should be scheduled to be ran first (by controlling the monitoring start time), at least 1 hour before the DRM module that monitors local and Geo-Redundant sites.” DetailsThe correct description for DrmSite is: The DRM module can perform schema or data validation either on single chassis system or Geo-Redundant systems. This parameter allow the Network Operator to monitor either only the Local Site or its Geo-Redundant Site. For Geo-Redundant systems, Site A DRM will check Master-Master database replication (between Geo- Redundant sites A and B) and Master-Slave database replication (on local Geo- Redundant site A). On Geo- Redundant Site B DRM will check Master-Slave database replication (on local Geo- Redundant site B). DRM report files (e.g. schema check, data check, data sync) can be found in /blue/var/drm/ directory on both SC blades on both Geo- Redundant sites. Here is the correct order: 1) Geo-Red Site A (ReferenceProtected). DtmSite: LocalSiteAndGeo DrmState: Enable 2) Geo-Red Site B (Replica). DtmSite: LocalSite DrmState: Enable Attachments This solution has no attachment |
