Purpose

This document lists all the FMA fault messages with links to the specific Knowledge documents related to the Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance.

 

Details

How to view the 'fault' list in the BUI

Enter the appropriate Appliance IP address into a browser ; eg.  http://<NAS_IP_ADDRESS>:215

Login to the BUI using the appropriate username and password.

Go to the Maintenance > Problems page

Select/highlight the specific fault

How to view the 'fault' list in the CLI

Log in as root (for example:  ssh root@<NAS_IP_ADDRESS> ) and then using the CLI execute the following:

        CLI> maintenance problems show

How to view the 'fault detail in the CLI

Select the appropriate problem :

        CLI> select problem-XXX

...then run show
