Description

The key identity properties (KIP) of the frame monitoring module are indeterminable.

The frame monitoring module (FMM), frame backplane node (FBN) 14, and frame backplane node (FBN) 16
are the 3 components that make up the quorum for maintaining the product serial number.

The KIP information can be obtained or modified using ILOM "sunservice" mode or "escalation" mode on the frame monitoring module.

Automated Response

The frame monitoring module cannot return accurate product identification.

Impact

The frame monitoring module will operate in the presence of this fault. An accurate product serial number (PSN) is required for service entitlement and automated service request (ASR).
