Description

The compute node frame discovery failed.

Frame discovery may fail due to a checksum or hang issue.

1. boot progress checksum is bad.
Frame monitoring module reads frame backplane node (FBN) area and determines checksum is bad.

2. boot progress is hung.
Frame monitoring module did not receive anything from RMS.

Verify the latest ILOM/BIOS firmware verison is installed on the compute node.

If not the latest, please remove the compute node from the rack and update ILOM image.

The frame monitoring module is unable to configure compute node.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

Verify the policy definition for the compute node has enabled deactivation.
