 Invalid Frame configuration image

Type

Fault

Severity

Major

Description

The frame monitoring module has discovered that the configuration image could not be validated.

Frame configuration image holds all the frame configuration data. Invalid configuration image would leave the frame in dysfunctional state

Configuration image in the compute node doesn't match the configuration in the frame monitoring module (FMM).

This problem can occur when the frame backplane node configuration image is invalid (e.g. fails checksum )
or the frame monitoring module configuration image is corrupt.

If the frame monitoring module configuration image is invalid,
Use escalation mode to overwrite the configuration image on the frame management module (FMM).
If the problem persists, then replace the frame backplane node (FBN).

If the frame monitoring module configuration image is corrupt,
use escalation mode to overwrite the configuration image on the frame management module (FMM).
If the problem persists, then replace the FMM.

Automated Response

Frame level service-required LED is illuminated.

Impact

Frame is in a dysfunctional and unusable state.
