Severity: Major

Description
A CPU core was briefly hung but was recovered.


Automated Response
The system firmware has already responded to recover the core.

Impact
It is possible that some applications may have been terminated as part of the recovery process.

Suggested Action for System Administrator
The administrator should contact Oracle Service so that this event may be analyzed. No hardware replacement is needed.

If the system is connected to Automated Service Request [ASR] a service request may be automatically generated. If a manual request is needed.  Refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content in preparation for submitting a service request and applying any post-repair actions that may be required.
