Scope

Additional information for Message ID:  ILOM-8000-9W

Details

 TYPE: ILOM Defect.

           defect.ilom.fs.miniroot-missing

Severity: Minor

Description

The ILOM miniroot system is missing.

Automated Response
None.

Impact
The system will continue to run.  However the host cannot be booted from the miniroot target.

Suggested Action for System Administrator
The solution is to reload the miniroot package. This will be delivered unbundled from the ILOM package, because of both it’s size and infrequent update.

If the system is connected to ASR  a service request should be automatically generated.  However if necessary,  refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content in preparation for submitting a service request and applying any post-repair actions that may be required.
