Details

 TYPE: Temperature Fault.

          fault.chassis.temp.over.minor

Severity: Minor

Description

A component temperature sensor has exceeded the High Temperature warning Threshold.

Automated Response
The condition will clear itself once the temperature returns below the threshold value.

Impact
There may be some performance impact while condition exists.

Suggested Action for System Administrator
The administrator should attempt to remedy the situation causing the condition. Causes could be external air, inlet blockages, room hot spots etc are possible causes.

If the system is connected via the Automated Service Request [ASR] interface, a service request should be automatically generated.  However if necessary, refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content in preparation for submitting a service request and applying any post-repair actions that may be required.
