Purpose
New OP Panel Requires 6.51 SLConsole.
Scope
There is no compatibility issue running 6.51 SLC on the previous Aaeon op panels (new SLC, old hardware). SLC 6.50 and earlier will also run on the new panel (old SLC, new hardware). However, it will be exposed to the potential for getting the "About" window stuck behind the main login display and blocking all further input. That was addressed in 6.50 code on old panels but the new panels require 6.51 to fix the issue.
Details
Engineering's recommendation is that new panels with SLC 6.51 should not be down-leveled.
The model numbers listed below identify the OLD and NEW Op Panels:
- TF-AHP-1121HTT-C1-1010 (AC - SL8500) --OLD
- TF-AHP-1123HTT-C1-1010 (AC - SL8500) --NEW
- TF-AHP-1121-C2-1010 (DC - SL3000) --OLD
- TF-AHP-1123-C2-1010 (DC - SL3000) --NEW
