This note allows customers to download Exalogic Oracle Linux (OL) 6.5 guest vServer template for following Virtual platforms Exalogic Virtual platforms

- July 2014 PSU versions 2.0.6.0.2 & 2.0.6.1.2
- January 2015 PSU versions and above (2.0.6.2.X)

Purpose

This note allows customers to download Exalogic Oracle Linux (OL) 6.5 guest vServer template for Exalogic Virtual platforms which are on July 2014 PSU versions 2.0.6.1.2/2.0.6.0.2 and PSU releases (2.0.6.2.x).

Oracle Linux (OL) 6.5 template available from this Note is fully supported on Exalogic Virtual platforms.

Details

Oracle Linux (OL) 6.5 template for Virtual platforms is available to download from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud . Below are steps for downloading OL 6.5 template from edelivery.

1) Login to edelivery.oracle.com

2) Select "All Categories" (defaut)

3) In the "Product" search text box, enter Exalogic and select "Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software"

4) Select "REL: Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software 2.0.6.1.0" and then click the chart (Select Software)

5) Click on "Platform/Languages" drop-down and check "Linux x86-64" then click continue

6) On the next page accept the agreement and hit "Continue"

7) Unselect all the checkboxes and leave just "V46406-01.zip Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software 2.0.6.1.2 - Base Guest Template for Exalogic Linux 6 x86-64 (64 bit), 1.2 GB" or simply click the link "V46406-01.zip" to start downloading.

NOTE: Exalogic 2.0.6.1.2 Base Guest Template works on all PSU releases starting July 2014 PSU versions 2.0.6.1.2/2.0.6.0.2 and later releases (2.0.6.2.x).
