Purpose

This document serves as a pointer to the main repositories of collateral for the Oracle Optimized Solution for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

Scope

The Oracle Optimized Solution for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a complete solution for running a high performance scalable and high availability deployment of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on SPARC Solaris platforms.

There are two versions of the solution, targetting different requirements from the customer base...

All-in-one solution using only a single SPARC T4-1 server, Oracle Solaris Zones and providing excellent performance at a very low cost of entry for customers that are very budget conscious
A High Availability version utilising a cluster of two T5-2 Servers, shared ZS3-2 storage connected via ES1-24 10GbE switches, this option provides excellent application availability and significantly higher performance for larger or more demanding customers (this version is very close to launching, collateral supporting this will be available as soon as launch has been completed)

Both options are detailed with detailed Deployment Guides and have presentation and white-paper collateral to support internal field requirements, partner requirements and customer requirements.
