Description

A fan failure has been detected.

Automated Response

Service-required LEDs on the fan module and chassis will be illuminated

Impact

Cooling redundancy is reduced. This may lead to the enclosure being inadequately cooled. If the problem persists, components may overheat and the switch may shut down.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience.
